Shooting Basics

If you want to be a great shooter it all starts with the basics.  We always teach out players B.E.E.F.  Balance, Elbow, Eyes and Follow Through.  Ideally you want your misses to be short and long as opposed to right and left.  B.E.E.F. is a great way to ensure you do just that.   One thing I would pay special attention to is your follow through.  Make sure you fully extend your elbow bringing it up to eye level and snap your wrist where 4 fingers are pointed down and your pinkey finger is left up.  This ensure a solid backspin.
